We’re thrilled to welcome back Mason Kinnavy as our Head Coach! A rising junior at the University of Tennessee and a former competitive swimmer, Mason brings great experience and enthusiasm to our team.
Welcome Nathan Hohnbaum as Assistant Coach!
We’re also excited to welcome our new Assistant Coach Nathan Hohnbaum. Nathan is a Myers Park graduate and rising sophomore at University of Miami where he is studying Finance. He is a former competitive swimmer on team ATOM and Myers Park Swim Team.

My name is Mason Kinnavy and I will be Head Coach this summer! I am currently a rising sophomore at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have been swimming competitively and through summer team my whole life. I started summer swim when I was 5 years old and was with ATOM most of my time swimming competitively. I was also on the Providence High School team where we were state champions my junior year! I was a lifeguard for 4 years, where I managed Foxcroft East last summer. I was an assistant coach at Beverly Crest last summer as well and love coaching because it gives me the opportunity to help young athletes discover their true potential in the water. I am extremely pumped for this upcoming season and can’t wait to have fun!
My name is Nathan Hohnbaum, and I will begin the season as your assistant coach before transitioning into the head coach role in early June. I am currently a rising sophomore at the University of Miami, where I am studying Finance. Although I no longer compete, I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years, spending that entire time swimming with ATOM. I also swam all four years at Myers Park High School and earned All-American honors during my junior and senior seasons. I have a strong passion for the sport and look forward to bringing that energy and experience to the team this summer. I can’t wait to meet everyone!
Hi my name is Will Sanderson and I an a sophomore at Charlotte Country Day School! I have been swimming at FXH since I was 4 and I love doing it! It is my 3rd year as a coach and I cant wait to get back to it! In my free time I love working out and playing football and I swam at Team Charlotte for 5 years!
Hi my name is Watts Williams and I am 16 years old. I am a rising sophomore at Charlotte Latin School and I have been on swim team on and off since I was 5 years old! I love musical theatre, playing tennis and enjoy babysitting! I am also a summer camp counselor where I love watching kids have fun while learning something new! I look forward to getting to know everyone this summer. Go Fins!!
Hi! I’m Charlotte Marston and I’m SO excited to be back again as a jr coach this year! I am a rising senior at Myers Park and I am a cheerleader and soccer player! I’ve been apart of this foxcroft team for 11 years! I can’t wait to meet all the new swimmers and reunite with the returners! my favorite part of coaching is seeing all the young swimmers improve as the season progresses
Hi this is Louise Marston. This coming summer i will be a junior coach i am a rising sophmore at myers park high school. I was a coach last year and i used to do year roud swimming. The thing i enjoy most about coaching is being with the kids and just having a good time! I love thinking about how when i used to be on swim team and now i am helping kids have as much fun as i did when i was their age!
My name is Carson Cordeiro and this is my second summer as a junior coach! I am a rising sophomore at myers park. I have been swimming on Foxcroft hills since I was a little shrimper about 10 years ago and I am so so excited for another fun season of swimming and coaching! My favorite things about coaching are the meets and getting to know so many new young swimmers! In my free time I play tennis and enjoy running and working out.
Hi! My name is Matilda Nelson! And I am so excited to be returning this year as a junior coach!! I am a rising sophomore at Charlotte Country Day School. I have been on the foxcroft team for 6 years. I am so excited for this season and to meet all the new swimmers, and see the returners!! A couple fun facts about me is that I’ve played basketball since I was 4 and my younger sister is two years old!
Here is my bio: I am Harrison Biber, a rising 10th grader at Charlotte country day. I have been swimming competitively since I was five. I swim year around currently for ATOM. I enjoy being a junior coach because I like sharing my love of swiming with kids and inspiring the next generation of our fins! My favorite events are breaststroke and IM. When I am not swimming, I enjoy playing golf and hanging out with friends and my family.
My name is Stryker Kelligrew and I will be a junior coach this summer! I am currently a rising sophomore at Charlotte Catholic High School. I have been swimming with FXH since I was five years old! I also used to swim year round at MSA for two years and swam this year at Charlotte Catholic. This is my second year being a junior coach and I couldn’t be more excited! I love meeting all of the kids and watching them get better throughout the season. I am so excited for this upcoming season!!
Hi, I’m Graham Engel and I’ll be a junior coach this year. I’m a senior at Charlotte Catholic and will be heading to Chapel Hill in the Fall. I’ve been swimming year round for about 8 years, and swimming at Foxcroft since I was 5. I’m also a 4 year varsity swimmer and have gone to states for the 500 freestyle. This will be my fourth year coaching. What I enjoy most about coaching is sharing my love of swimming. Outside of the pool, I enjoy camping, traveling, and being outside with my friends.
Hi everyone, My name is Annie Brownlow and I am a rising senior at Myers Park High School! This will be my 4th summer as a junior coach, and my 11th year swimming as a foxcroft fin! I love swim season because of all of the amazing kids I get to meet and coach, and watching all the fun memories the kids make together! It really is so special, and is such a fun time! Outside of swim, I am involved in many clubs at my school, and love to stay active in my community! I am SO excited for this season, and can’t wait for all of the fun things coming!
My name is Wynn Koppang and I am excited to be a Jr. Coach this year. I am 14 and a rising 9th grader at Myers Park High School. I joined Foxcroft Fins when I was 4 and started swimming year round at 8. I swim competitively for Swim MAC and have attended swim camps at the United States Naval Academy, UNC Chapel Hill, and NC State. I am looking forward to being part of the team again and helping young swimmers learn all 4 strokes to become stronger in the pool. When I’m not swimming I love to play soccer, ride bikes with friends, and fish!
My name is Christian Siever, I am 14 years old, and a rising freshman at Charlotte Latin School. I have been on the Foxcroft Swim Team since I was six years old, and am looking forward to my first year as a Foxcroft Junior Coach. I also have been a year-around swimmer with MSA for the past five years, and a member of the Charlotte Latin Middle School Swim Team. I enjoy playing basketball and lacrosse, and am an avid fan of the Charlotte Hornets and Charlotte Panthers. I look forward to getting to know everyone this summer. Go Fins!!
Hi, my name is Sally McDonald and I am a junior coach for Foxcroft Hills! I am a rising junior at Myers Park High School, where I swim and play varsity softball. This will be my third year as a junior coach and my eleventh year swimming. I have loved every year so much, especially as a coach, but my favorite part of coaching is getting to connect with the swimmers and hopefully make swimming an experience that they love as much as I do!
Hi! My name is Ella Biber and I’m a rising senior at CCDS. I have been swimming competitively since I was 7 years old, and I have been a junior coach at FXH for the past 3 years. Swimming is such a big part of my life, and I love coaching because it means I get to share that love with younger kids. Summer swim is always the highlight of my summer and I’m so excited for this year! A fun fact about me is that I love cats, and I have two twin cats named Sugar and Spice!
My name is Charlie Klein and I will be a Junior Coach this summer. I am a rising sophomore at Charlotte Country Day School. I swim year-round with ATOM and has been part of FXH since I was four years old. I am excited to work with younger swimmers and help them achieve their goals in the pool. Outside of swimming, I play travel lacrosse and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Hello, I'm Luke Schwartz and I am a rising freshman at Providence Day School. I have been swimming for Foxcroft Swim Team since I was 6 years old. I also swim year round at MSA and I swam last season for the PD swim team. I love sports and am a big fan of the New York Knicks. I can’t wait to start as a Jr. Swim Coach!
My name is Dean Hamid. I have been swimming for the FXH Fins since I was 5yo. I swim competitively year-round for my club team, Swim Mac. I am a rising senior at Providence Day School where I was co-captain of the varsity team. This will be my fourth year as a junior coach, and I am looking forward to giving back to the FXH Fins where it all started. My favorite stroke is breast stroke, and I really like starts and turns. When I’m not swimming, I’m playing golf. Go Fins!
Hi, my name is Zach Hamid. I’ve been swimming for the Fins since I was 4 yo. This will be my second season as a junior coach, and I’m excited to give back to my team especially to the shrimpers. I’m a rising sophomore at Providence Day School where I play on the varsity golf team. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and more golf. Go FINS!
My name is Brady Benton and I have swam for the FXH fins since I was 5 years old. This will be my second summer as a junior swim coach and I am really excited for the season and seeing how much the kids improve. I’m a rising senior at Charlotte Catholic and I play soccer on the soccer team. Outside of soccer I enjoy hanging out with friends and traveling.
